Hi! I’m Grace Webb, a licensed nail technician based in Carterville, Illinois, and the proud creator of Nova Nail Studio. What started as a hobby during the pandemic quickly evolved into a full-blown passion for nail art, beauty, and helping people feel their best.

Before even stepping into a classroom, I was perfecting nail designs, practicing on friends and family, and exploring techniques such as marbling, 3D art, ombré fades, stamping, and custom press-ons. That early hustle laid the foundation I brought into formal training.

I began my journey in the Cosmetology Program at John A. Logan College, where I learned the fundamentals of manicures and pedicures. I later transferred to Shawnee Community College, specializing in nail technology and earning certifications in:

• Advanced Nail Design

• Sculpted Nail Extension

• Electric File Techniques

I gained real-world experience even before school by volunteering for six months to provide nail services, which taught me client care, time management, and the joy of connecting through creativity.

When I’m not at the nail desk, you’ll probably find me building Lego sets, gaming, soaking up the outdoors, or giving back to the community, whether that’s laying wreaths for veterans or lending a hand at local animal shelters.

Looking ahead, I plan to host community nail events that bring people together, spark creativity, and build genuine connections one manicure at a time.
